Carved from rare dark bamboo, it’s durable, finely grained, and naturally beautiful. The 64-tine configuration is a trusted standard in Japan — versatile enough for creating a silky usucha or blending a bold, rich koicha. It offers both flexibility and strength in one refined design.

CHARACTERISTICS

Each whisk is handcrafted from natural bamboo. Variations in tine shape, size, or color are normal — and part of what makes each one unique.

Delivered in a protective, minimalist cardboard box — perfect for gifting or safe storage. The box can be fully recycled.

CARE

1. Soak briefly in warm water to soften the tines.
2. Rinse with warm water (no soap), shake gently, and let air dry.
3. Place on a whisk stand (kusenaoshi) to maintain shape and longevity.

Excellent matcha

Very good matcha, it whisks into a smooth silky texture and it is the perfect ballance between umami taste, sweetness and bitterness. We use it for our lattes but it is good also for traditional matcha. We will order again as soon as it is back in stock!
